Questions
- Is the Free version really full-featured?
- Yes. The Free build is the same MIT-licensed app the project ships on GitHub. The Pro tier will add optional extras, not unlock core features.
- Where does my data live?
- On your own machine, in plain files you can open with any editor. Solstice doesn't sync, store, or transmit your notes. Point its data folder at iCloud / Dropbox / Syncthing if you want cross-device sync.
- Can I use my Pro license on multiple machines?
- Yes. A Solstice Pro license is per-user, not per-device. Install on every Mac, Windows, and Linux machine you personally use.
- Do updates stop after the first year?
- No — the version you bought keeps working. You stop receiving NEW versions after a year. Renew updates for $15/year or just stay on the version you like.
