Solstice is a local-first desktop application. No data from the app is transmitted to us. Your planner data lives on your device. This page explains the small amount of information we do collect: through our website, and when you buy a paid license.
What the app collects
Nothing. The Solstice desktop app does not phone home, does not log telemetry, does not transmit your notes or tasks. Your data is written to plain files in a folder on your machine. If you point that folder at a sync service (iCloud, Dropbox, Syncthing) that service's privacy policy applies to those files, not ours.
What this website collects
Standard web request information — IP address, browser user agent, referring URL — is processed by our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) to deliver this site and to detect abuse. We do not run any third-party analytics scripts on this site at this time.

When you purchase Solstice or contact us, we share data with:
Paddle
Paddle.com Inc. is our merchant of record. When you buy a paid license, Paddle collects your name, email, payment details, and billing address; charges you on our behalf; and sends you a receipt. We receive a notification of the sale with your name and email, and use that to issue your license key. Paddle's own privacy policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy governs their handling of your data.
When you email hello@abrlab.xyz your message and email address are received by our email provider so we can read and respond. We do not enroll you in marketing emails.
Your rights
Under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@abrlab.xyz from the email address associated with your purchase and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking cookies. Vercel may set essential cookies required to serve the site.
Children
Solstice is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page; the updated effective date will appear at the top.
